The Traditional Council is pleased to announce that the Annual Durbar celebration will be held in the traditional capital on the dates specified below. This important cultural event brings together the people of the traditional area to celebrate our heritage, honor our ancestors, and reaffirm our unity as a people.

All citizens, both at home and abroad, as well as friends and well-wishers of the traditional area, are cordially invited to participate in this momentous occasion.

Schedule of Events

The celebration will span three days and include the following activities:

  • Traditional procession and display of regalia
  • Cultural performances by various communities
  • Durbar of chiefs and elders
  • Community feasts and social gatherings
  • Awards and recognition ceremony
