The Traditional Council, under the leadership of Obrempong Ameyaw Amponsem II, is pleased to announce the launch of a comprehensive Cultural Preservation Programme.
This programme aims to document and preserve the rich oral traditions, customs, and heritage of Anyima and surrounding communities for present and future generations.
Programme Objectives
- Document oral histories, folktales, and proverbs from community elders
- Record traditional music, songs, and dance forms
- Preserve knowledge of traditional crafts and artisanal skills
- Create an archive of historical photographs and documents
- Establish a cultural education curriculum for local schools
Community Participation
The success of this programme depends on the active participation of our people. We call upon elders, cultural practitioners, and all citizens to contribute their knowledge and memories to this important initiative.
